Issues that can occur between Terrain and Sites

The problems below may occur between the terrain data and a users sites. One example maybe

Users may want to import various .csv files containing site or sector data through the spreadsheet editors. Loading various terrain or clutter files, and changing from one resolution of terrain/clutter to another may cause some of the sites to become buried underneath the terrain. This occurs when the sites do not initialize with a new terrain database. During the process of editing your project (bringing in site data via the spreadsheet editors, loading in various resolutions of terrain or clutter) users may notice that some of their sites have disappeared or when running a study notice that they are not receiving results after the study completes (some transmitters have no results). One place to check would be the site elevations by navigating to spreadsheet editors>site details and verifying all sites have the proper terrain. The image below is an example of problematic site elevations from within the spreadsheet editors, site data.

If the above issues are occurring, it is likely your sites are underneath the terrain. Meaning the sites have an elevation of 0.0m. To resolve this issue navigate to Databases>Terrain and unchecking all active terrain selections and click okay. Then navigate back to Databases>Terrain and re-check terrain as active and click okay. This will allow the sites to pick up the proper terrain elevations and will no longer display 0.0m. Highlighted below is the active checkbox the user should be checking and unchecking below:

You can then go back into the Spreadsheet Editors>Site Details to verify that all sites now have the proper terrain elevations set.
