Error Initializing Traffic Database

In certain cases users may experience errors due to incorrect files or locations. This specific error concerns the traffic files. We will walk through resolving this issue.

 

If the user receives the following error messages once they have opened a previously working project, they must follow the following instructions:

These particular error messages are generated when the project is not pointing to valid traffic files.

 

  1. Navigate to the Databases Tab in the Menu bar and select Traffic Data.

The dialogue pictured below will open.

  1. From within the dialogue, the user must select a “Type.” Either select “none” or “EDX point data.”

  2. If EDX point data is selected, then the user must point to the appropriate directory within the directory by selecting the browse button.

  3. If none is selected, then no further information is necessary. Click okay to save changes.
