Limitations for Windows Display Settings when using SignalPro
This article outlines a limitation of SignalPro’s UI. Please note that the minimum resolution required for operating SignalPro is 1440x900. In most cases issues relating to text visibility in dialogs can be addressed by operating at the SignalPro minimum resolution rather than scaling the text through Windows settings.
There is a known issue that causes some of the dialogue boxes within SignalPro to display improperly. The best setting for the Display Settings>Scale & Layout of a users machine is going to be 100%.
SignalPro only supports a 100% text sizing and this is the only Scale & Layout size that will properly display all content. For example this image below shows a mesh dialogue box at 150%, where just below the modulation settings, you can see the dialogue is displaying wrong.
The workaround to this issue is to adjust the scale & layout with still SignalPro open. This will enlarge the size of everything but the dialogue boxes will still display normally. But it is important to note that when re-opening SignalPro, the user will need to adjust the scale back to 100% in order to have the dialogue boxes display correctly.
