Exporting a Map View as Image from SignalPro

Exporting a Map View as Image from SignalPro

Exporting a Map View for reporting can be a good idea for some users. This can be done using multiple approaches:

Using Windows Snip & Sketch (EDX Recommended)

Windows 10 provides a new tool called “Snip & Sketch”. This is supposed to be an upgraded version of the older Windows Snipping tool. The article linked below will explain how to utilize the Snip & Sketch tool.

Saving an image for the entire Map View

  1. File → Image Setup → Check “Use Active Window”

  2. File → Save As Image

For more information on Save As Image… and related options see our article here: Save as Image and Image Setup

Saving an image based on Print Preview

  1. File → Image Setup → Check “Use Print Setup”

  2. File → Save As Image

NOTE: this also bundles the legend if the user has their legend enabled. Which is sort of nice.
