How to add or register a COM object in Signal Pro

To utilize the COM functionality in Signal Pro, it must be registered in the Windows operating system. Simply installing Signal Pro does not register the COM object. The user may simply register the COM object by executing the program as administrator, which of course requires administrator privileges on the specific PC.

To register simply navigate to the Signal Pro executable in you file manager:

Open

It is typically located in the C:\Program Files\EDX\SignalPro\bin folder.

Right click and click “Run as administrator”:

Open

Click “Yes” to the following prompt:

Now the COM object is now registered.
