Generic System Channel Plan

When using the Generic transmit/receive selection for the System name/type in the Transmitter Site Details dialog box, the frequency entered in the main dialog is what’s used when performing calculations. From the menu, selecting RF Systems>Generic System Channel Plan (not available in EDX Signal) opens the Generic System Setup dialog box shown below. Checking the Use a Channel Plan Template File checkbox allows you to specify a channel plan for use with generic systems. Once the box has been checked and the template assigned, then in the Transmitter Site Details dialog box, clicking the Channels/Traffic button shows the channels available in the template. Clicking once on a channel highlights it in red, meaning the channel is now assigned for use at this base station. To unassign the channel, click again so the text is black.
