Exporting a Map View for reporting is a good idea.

This is done using Save As Image

Can be done using multiple approaches

Using Windows Snip & Sketch (EDX Recommended)

Saving an image for the entire Map View

  1. File → Image Setup → “Use Active Window”

  2. File → Save As Image…

Saving an image based on Print Preview

  1. Image Setup → “Use Print Setup”

  2. File → Save As Image…

NOTE: this also bundles the legend if the user has their legend enabled. Which is sort of nice.
