Sinclair Antenna Pattern Issue

Sinclair Technologies, offer a variety of solutions and products. One of which are antenna formats in EDX format.

However it has been discovered an older version of their canned converted formats are not working within the software as expected

If you experience this issue then please follow the steps below to use in the software.

  1. Look through the pattern in a text editor and look for any discrepancies within the pattern. As you scroll through, you should notice that the first and second azimuth slices are not identical. You will need to make these two azimuth slices match up.

  2. You will need to cut the first value from the second azimuth slice. You can then paste this value at the bottom of the second azimuth slice. You will also include the negative sign in front of this value so it lines up properly as well. The image below shows this. The red line showing that we cut this value from the second slice, and the green line showing where we pasted the value at the bottom and included the negative.

  3. Once you have made this edit, you should no longer receive an error in SignalPro relating to this pattern.
