When working with the mesh module there is a known issue that can sometimes occur depending on the users workflow. If a user runs the initial mesh studies, and then that user goes back to their sites and changes the antenna pattern files or edits the transmit or receive parameters, or just in general make changes. That user should then go into the menu Studies>Study Preferences and press the “reset all working files button”. Then they should go back into MegaMesh and they should also clear the cache files under the setup and sort menu. They should re-run the entire mesh study process after clearing the cache files in order to see those changes made to the site.

The reason this issue occurs is because within MegaMesh, after running your mesh studies, the program builds a cache file for those studies. These cache files get re-used when running the mesh studies again. If you make changes to your sites, which are outside of the MegaMesh menu, those site changes dont get taken into effect, because of the cache files that were built from the previous mesh study. You must clear the cache files and rebuild them by running a fresh mesh study.

If a user also makes propagation model changes or edits of any kind, they should go through the same process of clearing their caches files and running a fresh mesh study in order to see those changes taken into the effect. The mesh module works by reading cache files from previous runs of the study in order to save time. If the user makes changes to the prop model or to their site, they need to clear and rebuild their cache files to see the accurate results reflected from their changes.
