The Query Menu contains a host of features that allows a user to query study results in a variety of ways and export that information out. The Query Menu contains three main features: Calculate Statistics, Study Queries, and Area Study Queries by Point.

  • Calculate Statistics: Allows the user to point to a polygon file or utilize one of the available polygon options. Then the Run Statistics option can be selected. This will produce a text file of statistics relating to the polygon selection made prior.

  • Study Queries: This menu allows the user to select a single area, multipoint, or route study to query. This query by default is based on the Study Grid, but there are several options available to choose the specific area of interest that needs to be queried. Depending on the size of the study grid, complexity of the polygon file, or the number or sites/sectors being run, the query menu may take some time to calculate results. A progress menu should display when running the query. Finally, there are options available to export these results in various ways as shown in the image.

  • Area Study Queries by Point: The Area Study Queries by Point menu allows the user to query study results based on specific points. First the area study to query is selected. Then a lat/long list of points must be pointed to for the query as well. This can be a specific group of CPEs, the towers/poles layer, a simple CSV file of points, or a meters file. The final step is to select your output file location and run the query.
