When working with the mesh module there is a known issue that can sometimes may occur depending on the users workflow. If This being when a user runs the initial mesh studies, and then that user goes back to their sites and makes changes to either the antenna pattern files or , edits the transmit or /receive parameters, or just in makes general make changes. That If this is the case the user should then go into the menu navigate to Studies>Study Preferences and press the “reset all working files button”. Then they should go back into MegaMesh and they should also clear the cache files located under the setup and sort menu. They should And lastly, re-run the entire mesh study process after clearing the cache files in order to see those the changes made to the site.

The reason this This issue occurs is because within MegaMesh, after running your mesh studies, the program builds a cache file for those studies. These cache files get re-used when running the mesh studies again. If you make changes to your sites, which are outside of the MegaMesh menu, those site changes dont get taken into effect, because as a result of the cache files that were built from the previous mesh study.

Note

You must clear the cache files and rebuild them by running a fresh mesh study.

If a user also makes propagation model changes or edits of any kind are made, they you should go through the same process of clearing their the caches files and running a fresh mesh study in order to see those the changes taken into the effect. The mesh module works by reading cache files from previous runs of the study in order to save time. If the user makes changes are made to the prop propagation model or to their a site, they you will need to clear and rebuild their the cache files to before you see the accurate results reflected from their your changes.
