Correcting Unexpected Behavior Error in Sector Data Spreadsheet Editor

Introduction

Inappropriate power units or their associated Sector Data spreadsheet values can result in an Unexpected Behavior error message, similar to the following:

The error message appears when importing sector data with zero (0) values in the Transmit Min Transmitter Power Per Channel or Transmit Max Transmitter Power Per Channel columns with the following units configured:

  • Watts (W)

  • KiloWatts (kW)

  • MegaWatts (mW)

To correct this error, with the project that produced the error loaded in SignalPro, complete the following procedures:

Configure the Correct Power Units

In the Menu Bar:

  1. Select Map > Units to display the Units dialog, similar to the following:

  2. In the Power and antenna gain units section, click Power units to display the associated options, similar to the following:

  3. Select the appropriate option.

  4. Click OK.

Replace Zero (0) Values in the Sector Data Spreadsheet

In the Sector Data spreadsheet:

  1. In the Transmit Min Transmitter Power Per Channel or Transmit Max Transmitter Power Per Channel columns, if the configured unit is one of those identified in the Introduction of this document, check for values of zero (0), similar to the following:

  2. Enter non-zero values in the columns identified in Step 1.

  3. Save the spreadsheet.

  4. Close the spreadsheet.
