Traffic Studies

Traffic studies are performed the same way as demographic studies described in the preceding section except the program uses the traffic density database instead of the demographic database, as specified on the Databases menu. The main difference is that for counts of traffic on sectors in a Point-to-Multipoint system, the traffic totals are the effective occupied bandwidth of all the Customer Premise Equipment assigned to that sector. 

The count results for the telecommunications traffic are in units of milliErlangs or Mbps per square kilometer, depending on the units used in your traffic database.
